I have created a Flash projector app that runs from a CD. When a user clicks a link to leave Flash and visit a sponsored web page I would like to count that action. At least part of the code would be attached to the Flash button along with the 'Get URL'.
I want to be able to count the number of times people have intiated an action my disk. I don't care WHO does, just how many times. There are a few hundred of these disks in circulation.
I know that Macromedia has data-driven Flash complementary software but for the life of me I don't understand their explainations. Nor do I understand the difference between most of their products beyond Studio MX.
What would be my simplest and most flexible solution. It doesn't have to be a Macromedia product.
Thanks
Eddie
