I have been told that there is a bit of software that can be installed on a webserver that allows for online editing of webpages/web content. I have found a few that require components to be installed on the client machine which are not really acceptable. Does anyone know of such a interface that just uses DHTML and javascript, and does not need to be installed on the client machine. I want something like this but without the need for it to be installed on the client machine. any ideas??

I don't know any names in particular.

This is done with perl scripts, and actually I have seen it done completely in JavaScript too (painfully though)

Check with the Perl group I bet they have all the answers
