Ongoing "Not Initialized" status for Call Pilot-Symposium IVR ports

Here are the two IVR tn's and the ACD queue 3601. Symposium Call Center Server is 5.0, svc update 5; the Call Pilot is Release 4, svc update 3.

Just a question: Should the intended ivr ports be configured as 'voice ports' in the Call Pilot vs. say, IVR ports or ACCESS ports??

Ur TNs look ok. In CP's config wizard, do you have the IVR TN's defined as IVR in the Channel Allocation column?

If not, they will need to be set as Channel Allocation type IVR.
 
Channels are Channel Allocation type IVR and SCCS/CP integration box is checked...

In Call Pilot under the Maintenance tab when you click on the plus signs beside the Call Pilot Server icon, and then click on each of the next set of plus signs, all of the available 'hardware type items' are listed. Our two IVR ports are listed as below except that there are two big red x's to the left of each: when you double click on the ports a page comes up and indicates their status as "uninitialized", but the 'start','courtesy stop', and 'stop' buttons are subdued or grayed out/not usable.

What do you have to do to get these two IVR ports to initialize?

Reboot your Symp & CP during a maint window and see if they will initialize.
 
when you do what pronei suggest make sure you let the
symposium come up first and inquire the elan then bring
up callpilot.because it you don't do it that order
the two set ther and fight to inquire the elan and
your ivr channels never come up.

If you have double and triple checked your TN config page with the DN's and ACID and you follow the bootup procedure you can always try stopping and restarting the service MAS VSM followed by MAS PORT LINK HANDLER #2. Then restart MAS PORT LINK HANDLER #2 then VSM. This worked on most occasions.
