oneXportal presence not working going up and down

HELLO

I am having a problem with my one x portal its showing presence for a period of time then it goes down again. i have installed it on a separate server with 8 core and 20 gig ram...also have tried installing and uninstalling it but to no help. however have resorted to adding one site only for presence since adding all sites into the scn was resulting in the process failing to initiate the process to be up..any help is kindly helpful
