OneX Portal User Cred Not Working

I'm in the process of upgrading 8 site SCN from 11.0.4 to 11.1.3 and after upgrading one site where the users log into OneX Portal, they are getting invalid credentials when trying to login. The system is green in components in OneX and adding complexity to the Users password doesn't help. Will IPO 11.1 not work with OneX Portal 11.0.4.7.0?

In this case the new Linux App server was up and configured but not in production yet (we were just testing), so they were logging into OneX on the new server, but they were also using Workplace that was still configured with the current OneX server. Once Workplace and OneX were both configured with the new App server, they were able to login.
