Working on an IPO install, my client works everywhere inside on an internal wifi and outside from 3g/lte or external wifi, everything works fine over VOIP exept when 2 OneX Voip Clients try to communicate with one another on the internal wifi, they try to connect through direct media instead of RTP relay... The IPO seems to create temporary SIP extensions for the voip clients and even if i manually create the sip extension on the manager and disable allow direct media path it doesn't seem to take that in account...

Any help on how to tell the voip client not to use direct media path would be most welcome !! :)

Thanks!

Why not direct mediapath?
It is a good thing that it tries direct mediapath.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Well the thing is that there is no voice path on direct media, if it worked i wouldn't be asking for help :)

Then the network is configured wrong.

I am looking into that but since the OneX Voip client works everywhere, inside and out, and to the IP phones too, it's hard to tell that to the client, only onex voip to onex voip has no voice path and only on internal wifi...

There must be some difference somewhere.
Did somebody changed the codec settings on the app?

Client had 2 access points with same ssid, but only mentionned and gave me access to one, not the one we were testing on, so i was playing with the wrong config... I saw the second AP and ask what is THAT ? entered the config disabled packet inspection and client isolation, clustered the two APs, and boom all working... :))
