Maybe you can help. Can we use OneBox in connection with Lync. Direct or if MX-ONE is integrated to Lync and the customer wants to use OneBox 5.0 SP3 as common voice mail server?

Why would you want to use OneBox with LYNC?

If your using LYNC thought the LYNC users would want the integrated voice mail and notifications etc that comes with LYNC?

For the Voice Mail purpose and IVR.

just been looking at Lync etc

doesn't look too bad so far, does all the voice mail and IVR stuff too, are they having two estates? Lync and one with one box?

Yes, our customer has Lync and MX-ONE interconnected. The MX has OneBox integrated - also with Echange/Outlook.

Makes sense to have one voice mail system

just thought it would have already have been decided by the IT department that it would be Lync

all I'm hearing these days from IT people is how fantastic Lync is and how rubbish legacy telephone systems were/are
