I've searched the forum but cannot find an answer if this works, has anyone tried one-x 8.1 working with Server 2012 and Exchange 2012?
I appreciate previous comments stating preference of using linux but I have only used Microsoft server so i'm very unformiliar with it

It is not supported yet so give it a try but you never know if it will work bug free.
Avaya tries to get new OS's supported within 6 months.
I guess this will be Q2 or Q3 this year.
