One-X portal for IPOffice 9.0.3

Hi,

We have IPO 9.0.3 Pref.edition and want to configure (standalone)One-x portal for IPoffice. Installed the same. What would be the domain name address in the manager>system settings?? and XMPP domain address in onex portal?? Both should be same??

Can you pls tell me what are all the port i should open/forward in my firewall?

i have a list of ports opened in firewall but still no speech over 3g/4g. When it allows "Any-to-Any" ports i am getting the speech.

specific ports anything ??

The ports you need are on the IPO lan settings for the VOIP option.
Default these are 5060-5061 and the RTP ports but i should change them to something else.

hi all,

as of now i'm configuring following port settings in my firewall incoming settings(WAN-LAN).

TCP 5269, 5222, 8444, 5060 & 5061
UDP 47000 to 54500

Is that will be fine?

also anybody done with Cyberoam Firewall? if so, what configuration required?

Have you secured you IP Office & all users?

if not I suggest you do not proceed any further

all uses need a secure password
Auto create Extn & Auto create user should be disabled
all IPO administration account passwords should be changed & unnecessary accounts removed
all "unsecured" passwords should be changed.
all unnecessary protocols should be disabled.




A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

That would really depend on how you plan on protecting these ports.

You do realize that the RTP range is right smack in the middle of the administrative controls for the IPO?
(Ok, some of them are TCP, but...) these UDP's will go online the minute you launch:

50795 IPO Voice Networking
50796 IPO PCPartner (Phone Manager or SoftConsole).
