One X mobile preffered

Hi All,

Finally got one x preffered working internaly via wireless on a HTC handset, now have to get it working when customer leaves site. Has anyone done this succesfully? if so what was the best method for connection back to one x server? was considering VPN tunnel of the handset or SIP endpoint.

? Why a VPN and a SIP client won't do.

You need to have a external URI like mail.customername.com and the ports 8444 (mandatory) and 4222 (optional) to be forwarded to the One-X Portal server, if yo need XMPP as well then you need more port(s) to be forwarded, i can't remember which ports.
If they want to use the client over WiFi as well then the internal DNS server has to link the URI (mail.customername.com) to the IP Address of the One-X Portal server.
