One-X Mobile Preferred Voicemail

Hi

Having a play with one-x mobile preferred.
Gradually getting features to work, both inside the LAN on WiFi and outside via 3G.
I can get notifications of voicemail, but cannot play them back on the device.
The Red Play icon goes green for a split second, then back again.
I have seen this thread -> But none of the advice there has resolved.
Any ideas?
Dont think it's firewall 'cos even if I drop the firewall completely on the 1XP server it makes no difference.
System R8.1 VM Pro and One-X server on same machine, W2K8 R2
Phone is 'droid (HTC One-X bizarrely)

VM Pro is in IPO mode not Intuity. if that makes a difference?

IPOffice mode is not the issue.
I think you need to have webvoicemail installed too and then you need to go to the default webpage for that and add port 8080 but i am not sure.

I already had web voicemail installed.
I just tried adding a binding for port 8080, but to no avail....

Try turning off the firewall.
By default server 2008 blocks everything.

I would install the Linux apps instead of running it on a Windows server.
If you can then try it.

Yes, the web VM works well.

I cannot use the Linux VM Pro, as we use 3rd Party database IVR in our call flow, which I gather doesn't work on the Linux VM Pro?

True about the database
Try debugview and see if it shows the voicemail error you are seeing.

So in a fit of frustration I rebooted everything, including the photocopier :)
Now it works. mostly.
sometimes, first time the message is played it is just silent.
After a couple of tries, it plays well.

What happens is that the phone downloads the message so it can take a little while before you actually have it.

That's me being impatient then, as I was on WiFi, rather than 3G!
Longest message was 56 seconds :D

Just add the exchange server and use port 5269

I work with rollfig :)

All One-x mobile client have this problem iphone and android
The One-X portal and Vm Pro are on the same server
We used the bat file to open firewall port
All applications are up to date
We connect to hardphone
