We have a 500v2 release 7, and when the phone system starts to become maxed out on the number of calls its handling, then it's seems as though all new calls that come in, have one path of communication. Ie: customer calls in, employee answers call, store can hear customer fine, customer CANNOT hear store. This continues until several calls are released, then it's back to normal untill next call overload??????...... Help Jim.

what type of phones? what type of trunks?

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

Also bear in mind the system can have like 120 channels/lines and 384 handsets, so even if your lines are almost maxed out the systems call handling capabilities probably aren't :)

Thx guys; both analog cordless sets and 1416's. SIP's. Also in the 500, there is a place where you can select max. number of calls' if I have 5 licences do I put 5 for max. # of calls? It must do something, or else they wouldn't have that selection.

One way voice when SIP is involved tends to be the router/firewall the traffic passes through causing the issue as oppose to the system :)
