I'm currently installing a CS1000 Rl5.5 at a new location (Site A). Users can make calls to both IP and TDM phones at that site. I've set up virtual trunks to connect to an NRS (Rls 4.5). I can call from all other sites (Site B, Site C and Site D) to the new site A. However, when I try calling from Site A to any of the other sites, I get a fast busy and the IP phone displays "release and try again".

Site A is registered to the NRS.
I've checked on the switch to make sure the correct steering code is programmed.
I've also checked to make sure that DSC is point to the correct RLI and Route (virtual).

I'm running out of things to check!
Any suggestions? Thanks.

also make sure your route is set up IAO not ICT at the ICOG prompt in the Route Data Block. Sometimes I'm looking for something more complicated than it really is.

You might also want to turn on D-Channel messaging to get a few more clues but I love the enhanced trace Mato suggests - it has helped me more than once.

The route is set up for incoming and outgoing (IAO). Yes I do have an NRS!

How do you turn on d-channel messaging. I don't have my CDs with me?

Sorry I was asking for the NRS routing. Does the D-Channel messaging show anything?

ENL MSGI xx (xx=D-Channel number)
ENL MSGO xx

To turn it off:
DIS MSGI xx
DIS MSGO xx

gwebster, at Site A, there are two signalling servers Rls 5.5. Can't I just make one of these my primary NRS?

If so, what is the easiest way to do this?
