Hi Gents:

MiCollab 9.3
MBG V11.2.0.296
MiVB 9.1

This is a new installation. When MiCollab PC Softphones (Teleworkers) make outgoing calls they are not heard by the remote end. Audio in the opposite direction works fine.

Also, Minet Teleworkers do have audio both ways, and MiCollab Mobile clients on IPhone do have audio both ways as well.

Strange thing is that PC Clients have one way audio, but the Mobile Clients work fine.

I have disabled all kind of Firewall/Antivirus on the Laptop with no luck.

Firewall andministrator says they have whitelisted all ports that I requested (MBG Eng. Guidelines Appendix).

Any idea why this is happening, anything that I can check?

One more thing, from PC Clinet to Minet phone also one way. Minet to Minet no problem.

Please let me know, Regards,

daniel

It could be quite a number of things.

Is the MBG in a DMZ Separate from the Voice Lan and Data Lan
[ul]
[li]Yes, Do you have similar rules for voice traffic going to the data lan (PC Softphone) as compared to the voice lan (Minet Phones)[/li]
[/ul]

Is the MBG in the Voice Lan?
[ul]
[li]Yes, Do you have rules for voice traffic going to the data lan (PC Softphone)[/li]
[/ul]

Do you have SIP Trunks
[ul]
[li]Yes, Do you have rules for SIP traffic going to the data lan (PC Softphone)[/li]
[/ul]

You state that the outgoing traffic is failing
[ul]
[li]This is quite often a result of the data lan not routing the packets back via the teleworker but instead via an alternate route to the internet[/li]
[/ul]

All of the above can be tested by placing a PC on the voice LAN

Don't get me started on what could be wrong with your config.

Hi KwB,

Pc softphones (MiCollab) are teleworkers as well.

The strange thing is that Mobile clients (MiCollab Iphone Teleworkers) have no issues with audio.

I thought PC Clients and Mobile cliente would use the same set of ports.

Yes, MBG is in the DMZ of a firewall, all sip helpers and algs are disabled.

This MBG is cluatered together with MiCollab MBG.

sorted! It was the laptop selecting the camera microphone and not using the headsets.

It was so weird that it worked from Mobile but not from PC. I would expect that ports are the same as both work as Teleworkers.

cheers all,

daniel
