Hi,
After upgrading CXi to 8.0.9.20 there is strange problem:
For outbound calls routed to analog trunk there is one way audio (callee can't hear the caller). For inbound calls received from the same analog trunk everything is just fine. Also everything is fine for SIP trunks.
I can't figure what is going wrong.
Thanks in advance for the help

Probably a long shot, but could the problem be relating to a firewall between the IP Phone and 3300, rather than a problem with an analogue line?

To rule out a problem that it could be the analogue line itself, maybe create a speed call in the DID range, so you can call into the 3300 which routes back out on the analogue line. I would have thought you should get two way traffic. If so, this could support that there is nothing wrong with the lines but perhaps the connection between the 3300 and the handset?

Otherwise, let me know if you found out what the problem or if im getting it wrong.

How far did you upgrade.

There was a bad batch of AMB's a couple of years back and maybe the upgrade shocked the card into failure.

If you came from 7.1 not so likely

If you came from 6.0 might be worth looking into.

This is the lab setup, so the latest working version was also 8.X. Also the card is working, because incoming calls are just fine. May be I' missing some option (but working SIP trunk have the same options). I'll try to downgrade and report if this will fix the problem.

Don't assume because incoming calls are working that the card is ok.

There was a bad batch of cards and your is one of the many symptoms. As this is a lab system, I suspect you've had it awhile and are only now encountering the issue.

Try replacing the AMB if you can. What can it hurt?
