Hi,
I have a user who has been having Internet connectivity problems suddenly for the last week. Here are the specs first.
He is running XP on a 3 year old Compaq iPaq desktop. (no SP 2)
Our server is running Win2k on a Compaq Proliant ML370.
We are using a Lynksys switch to connect to an 8 port Lynksys router. (Connection is DSL)
At first I thought maybe the NIC card was going bad, but when he has the internet problem he is able to access applications on the server just fine. That also rules out the possibility of the Cat5 cable being bad. I thought maybe he has some weird virus/spyware but he is clean. Also the DSL is up and running no problem for myself and other users when he has issues. I really can't think of what else to check.
Is there a guru out there that might have a suggestion?
Thanks, Eli
