Hey guys,

Im stuck and I may be over looking something.

intention: one touch transfer to vmpro module

current:
ive created a phantom user (285) which unconditionally forwards to a SC (*888) which goes to VM collect/name of module

the user phone im testing on has ENABLE_OTT in the source number
for button programming, ive tried "dial" & "user" to action data "285"

I try calling in and push the soft button, in about 2-3 sec, i hear the 3 digit extention dial but no transfer and/or complete the call.

I think you need a physical extension to transer to or a button type dial to the shortcode without using a phantom user at all.

A Voicemail collect button with the module name should work as well. If not use dial and create a Voicemail collect short code.

thank you for the replies

what is current is:

SC
Code: *888
Feature: Voicemail Collect
Tel #: "xxxxx" <- module name in quotes

user extn: 285
forwarding tab:
forward unconditional ticked
forward number: *888

source numbers:
V285
Enable_OTT

for the user testing this
user extn: 280

source numbers:
V280
Enable_OTT

Button programming
button: 4
label: test
action: dial (tried with user, same result)
action data: 285

Test either with dial - *888 or Voicemail collect - "xxxx" on the button.

by doing that, i dial in via DID and goes go the test extn via ICR. i answer the phone, then press the "xxxx" button, it takes up CA2 (b=) and plays the module but doesnt complete/disconnect the call.

You can do it with SoftConsole if you have one. Just take the call and move it to a BLF button with the short code as phone number.

If you have One-X Portal you can add Contacts in the Personal Directory with the short code as the phone number. When you receive a call you can hover over the Contact with the short code and click transfer.
