one-to-many tables

Can I build a one to many link based upon the following:1 client demographic to a many jounrnals table, AND the same demographic linked to a many service events tables......
client--> many journals
|--> many events........what are the reporting limitations then.
 
I don't see a problem with this. You may have to consider subreports if things get too complex.

If one demo record has 3 journal matches and 4 event matches you will end up with 12 records for that one demo record (3 x 4). This is really a many to many relationship, and usually requires a subreport to eliminate the duplication. Ken Hamady
