We are using a "one to many" list on a form, in "Natural Order". . .We need to "insert" a record into the many list, not just 'add' a new record, which adds the record to the natual order at the bottom. (No other order/index fills the visible requirement. . .)
Any recommendation or direction on how we might accomplish this. . .Appreciate any help. . .THX

Are you asking how to physically insert a record between two other records? Yikes! We'll all try to talk you out of it, but the solution, if that's what you really want to do, is:

insert

This is not the SQL insert into, but an xBase command that's been around since Rod Stewart. It inserts a blank record after the currently pointed to record, unless you include the before keyword. But its ugly.

Of course, if I've misunderstood what you are trying to do, disregard this message, and erase the old insert command from your memory. Please.
Robert Bradley

<a href= - Visual FoxPro Development
