Hello all,

We are using Crystal Decision's "ePortfolio" at our site on a local IIS server. I have one -- just one -- system that is unable to view the reports. Unforunately, it's the conference room system and I have to get it working!

On this system, the introductory page at \\server\crystal\enterprise\launchpd\en\default.htm displays without any error. But when you click on "ePortfolio" or "launch ePortfolio" or any other link (sample databases, management console), then you get "The page cannot be displayed" error.

This system uses Internet Explorer 6.0 with all current patches. Operating system is Windows XP Pro. The error occurs even when I log in as Administrator. I have tried changing security settings on IE to "low", "medium", etc. And setting back to default. Nothing seems to help.

Maybe I missed something really obvious (and dumb) :) Thanks for your help!

Hmmm, that's an odd one.
Let's see - the launchpad is just htm code and that works. The logon page or the guest view is csp, the logon to the CMC is a cwr request. What's the diff? One thing is that the WCS has to keep track of your browser to keep your session going. So what if your browser can find the webserver but not in reverse? I would ping by name in both directions and compare the names and IP's.
Also, what error do you get from the webserver - does it say http 500 or so?
If it's IIS, do you use "integrated NT authentication"?
Just for kicks, make sure you delete all temp pages and cookies on the browser.
