I have a database that I have used for over 4 years without problem - I just created a new report and for some reason, when I try to print it, I get garbage and the pages just keep spitting out.

I tried to repair and compact, then I deleted the report and re-created ??? The other reports still print but this one just craps out. Other times when I try to run the report I get:

the instruction at "0x77f5f30c" referenced memory at "0x0017c000"

Any ideas???? Thanks!!!!!

Fred,

I've had problems like you describe when including certain graphic elements like labels aligned at 90 degrees. I found that I had to select the Properties button for the printer and specifically select the choice to "Send fonts as bitmaps" (or something like that).

When Galileo theorized that Aristotle's view of the Universe contained errors, he was labeled a fool.
It wasn't until he proved it that he was called dangerous.

I can't find a setting like that in the properties of my printer - although I know you are on the right track ... I tried to print to a shared printer and it popped right out - thanks!!!!!!
