I have one user (NT machine like all the rest) that has the decimals truncated on his reports. The reports are being run from the Crystal ActiveX control in a VB app. Report is based on a MSSQL7 stored procedure. Field is formatted correctly with 2 decimals. Since it works correctly on 30 or so other machines I don't know what to try.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Probably the default setting for the development machine (as well as most others) is 2 decimals. Sounds like you have some sort of user who has gone to the trouble to change his/her Windows default settings to 0 decimals.

The best solution is to change the report(s) so that they formatted with a custom numeric setting (ie not using the default windows setting - there is a check box you need to look for in the format dialog for each field). Or search in Help under default windows setting.

The simplest solution is to change that one machine so it has a default numeric setting of 2 decimals as well. However, this is not a good long term solution, as the problem is certain to appear again sometime unless you fix it at the source. Malcolm

November is "be kind to dogs and programmers" month. Or is that "dogs or programmers"?

Thank you!! Thank you!! That was it. I have looked and looked for the solution. I appreciate your help.
