one parameter for all subreports 1

Dear Friends,

I have 3 different tables. There is no way to link the tables to each other so I have to use subreports. In each table there is a date field. If possible, I want to make only one parameter valid for all subreports. ???

Create the same parameter in all subreports and in the main report. Add the parameter to the record selection formula in the subs. Then link the parm from each sub to the parm in the main report. In the subreport linking screen, use the dropdown in the lower left corner to select {?parm} instead of the default {?pm-?parm}.
