One of the extensions in our company has suddenly stopped forwarding on no answer to voicemail and I don't know why. I have tried changing the number of rings for transfer but all that changes is the number of rings I hear at that extension, no transfer to voicemail takes place. All settings, both set capabilities and voicemail settings appear correct when compared to others in our company where the calls get transfered successfully to voicemail.

I'm hoping someone will have suggestions for fixing or why this would happen when there has been no changes or power outages. Please advise.
Thanks,
john

So you are saying that on that extension under CFDA it shows pointing to the VM DN?

Correct. The same as all other sets in company.

Here's some more info:
I just set up his extension to forward to voicemail. This doesn't work for outside calls but only intercom calls. Very confusing to me.

And, I've re-initialized his VM box, new greeting, new password. Checked all line assignments. Still confused.

Thanks in advance for any help/input to this problem.

did you upgrade nam recently????
check redirect dn in nam'
or call a vendor

ski season has started

line should appear and ring. strip the line appearance off of any other phones except the persons and it wil follow the phone programming.

Thanks! I fixed it. Somehow the prime changed. I'm not sure how this could have happened in the first place. But now it works. Thanks for your suggestions
