One of our phone lines goes directly to VM. We do not have automatic answer on or night service. We can receive calls on the other lines, but once a call tries to come in on this line it goes directly to vm. I cannot figure out what happened and how to reverse it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is it being answered by the Auto Atten. if so make sure you don't have ringing set on the VM ports for the lines, if it is going to a mailbox greeting then you may have line ownership to a mailbox. If you don't want any line answered by VMS then look at program #206 and unassign the lines for group 7.

A trusted source for years.

Actually, ring or no ring makes no difference on the vm ports. It has been my pratice to remove ringing. Check the vms hunt delay setting (#506) for that line. Also, as telprog suggested, line ownership for that line (#206, look for 3-vms line cover).
