Hello,
I have inherited a catalog of 50 pages where all text frames, image frames, tables, and vectors reside on one layer (a flat but editable plain). Is there a script or a faster way other than selecting each element component and copy and pasting each image, text, table and vector onto it's own layer for each of the 50 pages.
The printer/pre press insists that all text be on the top layer because of the overprint rip issue. I really wish to develop this catalog correctly and want to develop the document correctly.
Each page consists of mini text frames and mini image frames along with tables and different backgrounds.
Your help in this matter would be appreciated.
Thank you
