One Laptop Two Diferent Domains

I’m posting this question here but maybe it should also be posted in the network form.
This is the problem: I have a laptop user that needs to logon on to two different Domains. The one Domain is in one location and the other is in another location. The two Domains can not be physically connected. One Domain is Windows 2000 Server and the other is Windows 2003 Server. Can setting up trusted Domains solve my problem?

Setting up a Trust between the Domains would help considerably, as then the user authentication would be, with a small delay, transparent.

In the alternative, consider third-party tools. There is not a native utility to allow a true workstation join to more than one domain:

There are other products in this catagory, but I have used and recommend these two above.
