If Exchange Enterprise architecture is designed so that there are two servers with in one Exchange site, where does the Information Store located? In the first server or on both?
Thank you all for your feedbacks.

HI!

Each server has its own Information Store containing private and public databases.
The Exchange Directory is replicated and stored on both servers, each has a full copy of the Directory.

The Private IS is per server - each server holds its own mailboxes, and these are not replicated.

Each server has its own Public IS, but the admin can decide which public folders to replicate on both servers, and which public folders will be stored on 1 server. You can also choose to have only 1 public folders server and disable Public IS on the other one.

Bye
