Hi,

Could any one help me to configure the autoattendant of One box? The voice mail is configured and is working fine.
I need to configure like

"Welcome to our company..... for sales press 1 for service press 2, for acccounts press 3 and for operator press 0.

Version MX-ONE Messaging Voice Mail 4.1
Integration type : IP (4 lines)
Server : Windows 2003

Regards,

You have to go to the Administration program and find the Call Processor pane.
If you open it is fairly simple to program what should happen if callers pres 0 to 9 and * and #.

Thank you doctor

Could you explain little more in detail,

I have a pilot number xxxxx300 (a DID number)
When ever a call comes in to this number i need the auto attendant message to say welcome and as you have mentioned should be able to access the menu.

reagrds,

I guess that you have an MD110 or Mx-One behind this OneBox.
You need to make your main number be a GH group with a CDINI to the VMGEP; number of the OneBox.
The lines should be answered as numbers in the daily call processor. The greeting should be made in the owner's mailbox. Owner of the callprocessor.

Dear Doktor,

Sorry for the limited details from my side, All the extensions are IP, so the One Box integration is IP and the diversion is made with PELPI. I am attaching some more details for your info,

<GHDAP:GRP=499;
GROUP HUNTING DATA
GRP LIM SERV TRAF SEL QUE CUST RLTC DIR
499 1 11010 15 010001 5 0 601
602
603
604

<IPEXP:DIR=601&&604;
IP EXTENSION DATA
DIR IP ADDRESS RAS PORT CS PORT BACKUP POS PASSWORD
601 192.6.2.4 1911 1910 -
602 192.6.2.4 1986 1985 -
603 192.6.2.4 2589 2588 -
604 192.6.2.4 3191 3190 -

<VMGEP;
GENERIC VOICE MAIL DATA
DIR IFCIND
601 1
602 1
603 1
604 1

The voice mail part is ok with message waiting. I can reach from outside with DID number xxxxx499 and i get the message "Thank you for calling.... Enter the extension u wish to reach.... and I can dial an extension and get transfered.
Now my requirement is i want to replace this message with "Thank you for calling xyz... If u know the extension please dial now or for accounts dial 1, for sales dial 2 and for support dial 3.
How can we do this?

I can attach some screen shorts of One Box if u need.
END

You need to make another GH group with the main number pointing to the GH group of the OneBox.

This GH group number should contain the main pilot number of your company.

GHGRI:GRP=300,LIM=1,SERV=10010,TRAF=15,SEL=010001,QUE=5;
CDINI:DIR=300,DIV=499;

Then you must create a callprocessor in the OneBox, containing the main number.
In the Call Processor part of OneBox - in Adminstration, the call processor is created.
If you open it is fairly simple to program what should happen if callers pres 0 to 9 and * and #.

In the OneBox go to the Administrator program.
Configuration -> System -> Answer Mode and mark an X in Route code for the Daily Main Menu (000).

Then:

In the same window go to Call Routing, and write the main number (300) -> Service Type = Trunk -> Route code set to 1, and set an X in primart Extension.

Then copy the Daily Main Menu (000) to a new Daily Main Menu (001). Open this Daily Main Menu Call Processor, and change according to your needs for what should happen, if you press 0-9.
Good luck, it works here.

Doktor,

Thank you for the help. With ur help I was able to get an idea and configured the system and is ready to use.
One think like, i have extension stsrting with 200 and from the set up I came to know that we can't use "2" to map to an extension. Is there any way that i can use "2" for eg. 1 for accounts 2 for sales etc..... (keep in mind i have extensions in 200 level.

Thank u once again.

Regards,

Doktor,

By the way since I have all IP extensions i have to use PELPI for diversion. Is it correct?

Regards,

In the menues you can enable tha "press 2" is for extensions. You do not need to specify any extension number, just press 2+xx (200-299, i.e. any extension number in the 200 series).
Just use PELPI for IP-phones, that is correct.
