On workstation at a time on VPN

Hi,

I have a Contivity Extranet VPN box at the main office. We have remote sites connected through DSL who can use the Extranet client but when they do they can't see their own network. They all have Win 2000 Pro so I setup the 2000 VPN client and it works. They can see our mail server, they can also see their own network BUT only one remote workstation can be on at a time. The others get a 781 error message when they try to connect.

Error 781: Encryption failed because no valid certificate was found.

Any ideas?

It turns out that the problem lies with the SMC router on the remote site. According to the SMC web site the router will only allow one computer, one connection to one VPN server at a time. See below. What a limitation!!!

How many simultaneous sessions of PPTP (VPN) can the Barricade have?
------------------------------------------------------------You can have eight of them using PPTP pass thru at the same time. But the eight different clients have to connect to eight different servers.
