ON SITE-Centralized VM not working at 1 of 3 sites

Have 3 sites, all 500's w 4.0 (5). Just swapped thrid site's 406 with a 500. Can make calls to all exts across net, but site 3 cannot access vm. line id is correct in s/c, but when calling *17 get busy??? Can leave mail for other users at other sites from here but nothing locally. Have req'd licensing...Any thoughts?

did you set the ipadres of the vmserver on the ip500 ???
another thing top try is stop the vmservice and restart it
maybe it didn't make the mailboxes yet
use monitor to see what happens is you reboot the thirt site

third site already existed...swaping 406 for 500...routes are in & good...non meshed lines

so only local mail does not work ?
do the mailboxes exist on the vmserver ?
but probably they already exixted so maybe you need to delete them

Remote site doesn't work (where I am) host and other remote work wonderfully. This site cannot *17 or #xxx. Other sites cannot leave mail for this site either (which they could this morning with the 406 in place) ssa shows the following 8/24/2007 1:43:04 PM 3 The following system resources are all in use:
Voicemail Channels

But there is NO vm on this site! HELP!!!!!

i understand but you don't give answers to my questions

did you stop and start the vmservice ???
do the mailboxes still exist ?
did you try to delete those mailboxes ?
did you look in monitor what happens when you reboot the ip500 ?

it is hard to tell what is going on without these answers

yes, the mailboxes exist, and did prior to swap this morning..names stayed the same. I can call btwn all sites no prob, but just this one has the mail issues.

Tried your suggestion deleted one user, restarted vm services, and tried from her phone (if I did it to everyone and it didn't work....well)

Still no good

It just seems strange to me that the resources are showing that VM channels are busy (not VCM, but VM) when there is no voice mail at this site....ever seen that before?

What licences do you have?

Do you have the IP500 upgrade from standard to Pro?

Also you need the voice networking licences.
