on screen display (OSD) comes on after 2hours of pc being on

can any one help? my OSD comes on when iv'e been using pc for a long time (2-3hours),i have 128ram of memory amd450 cpu,only internet connection running,,do u think its a memory problem or maybe my monitor,,which is quite new??TIA

Turn off your APM (power mgmt) functions in your bios.
