On making connection between VB6 and SQL Server 7 with ADO2

I tried to make a connection between a VB6-form and my SQL Server7 (120 day trial). It´s setup as a desktop-server on a Pentium 133, 100 MB RAM, plenty of disk space and WIN2K professional (evaluation copy).

I tried a code sample from a book, but i can´t get it working...something goes wrong with connection.open...

When I test the connection in the VB-setup for the ADO-control I am told that the connection suceeded, but when I run the form the computer just hangs...

Very grateful for a tech tip!
