Customer wants the ability to have a person monitor conversations that are taking place between an outside and inside call. Also was wondering if the monitoring person could barge in without the outside caller knowing. Thanks in advance!
Read the section on "Service Observing" in the manual, starting on page 732 (760 of the pdf). They can monitor, but not barge into the calls.
To Barge In, look at page 117 (145 of the pdf). Once they feel they must join the call while service observing, they will hang up from that and then barge into the call.
Thanks for the reply TTT. Talked with customer again I misunderstood what they were asking for. What they wanted to do is only talk with the inside person and not have the outside caller hear conversation. They want this feature for training the inside person on how to handle calls. They are a collections company. Thanks in advance!
