On LINUX 7.0 GNOME, How do I set up a SAMBA share? I have a LINUX box Networked with a Windows 2000 Pro box and I want them to talk to each other. I am not familiar enough with LINUX to do this. I can Telnet into the LINUX system through Windows, But I want to set up a network share in LINUX and "browse" it through Network Neighborhood. Can any one help?

What Distribution of Linux are you running? Linux 7 is coinfusing for two reasons
1. the linux kernal is at version 2.x
2. Various distributions [REdHat, Mandrake, SuSE, etc] are at version 7.x and some do work slightly different thaneach other

It's got an faq on this, and many other things. As always, I hope that helped!
