Hi,

I want to represnt the data in Graphical format through Lotus Notes and the data is present in Oracle datbase ..

Let me explore ...what exactly I am looking for....

We have Oracle Database 8.1.7.0 on AIX ..
We have made few Tables in Oracle in which we keep data for System performance record daily basis. Now I want to represent that data through Lotus Notes Online ...

Means ..when the user will open from Remote location he/she can see the performace of that data ( in Graphical way ) from any location ..but actually that time the data will populate from Oracle Database ...

Hope you have understood ..exactly what I am looking for ..

Thanks in advance ...

Hi,

You need several things.

First you will need to use LEI to get the data to Notes.
The alternative is that you use "LS:DO" (Lotus Script and ODBC) to write the transfer yourself.

DECS can only do the job here if no new records are created but only existing ones updated. So I think you need LEI.

Then you will need to invent a graphical way that will work on any browswer.
I would suggest that you just use a table grid with hidden cells to simulate a graph.
For this you create an agent that calculates the results from the imported documents and puts them in a new document that is then displayed on the web.

In a Notes client you can just embedd an Excel worksheet to do the job for you, but that will not display on the web I think.

So, the first part is easy: getting the data to Notes and shwoing them in Notes clients. But getting a real graph on the web will require some more power...
