I'm looking for a program which will enable me to backup data from remote laptops to a drive on a server at our office. The users are complete beginners, so the software needs to startup and run in the background as soon as they turn their laptops on (scheduling wouldn't work, as they won't log on at the same time every day). There are variuos companies offering this remote data storage service, but thye are expensive and we don't need that kind of security - just some way of downloading a few letters to our server without asking anything of the user!
Suggestions please.
thankyou.

If your users are on a WAN, why not just create a backup section to the login script, and have it back up either to a home directory on the server or a %USERNAME% directory on a mapped drive? If it's not sensitive information or large chunks of data, this ought to be a simple solution.

Thanks, but no, they're not on a WAN, they're at home with only a modem for connection. I'm looking for something that will transmit via an internet connection. Guardian do such a system which backs up as sonn as the user logs on to the internet, but it costs £25 per user per month and I'm looking for a cheaper alternative.
