On Hold Music not on inbound calls?

We have several 3.7 systems and the on hold music does not play on inbound calls placed to a DID. It works fine when calling out and placing the call on hold. We also have several 3.6 systems and they perform as expected where on hold music plays when placing a caller on hold regardless if they are inbound or not.

Any ideas?

I don't believe MOH will play on a target line configured as "Private To: DN". Make sure the target line is set to public - set the prime set of the target line to the DN that the line is assigned to and your MOH should be fine.

I agree with biv343. I've experienced this with systems before. If you can, make the DID prime to the set instead of private. This should allow the MOH to procreate with the target line.

I hate conceited people that think they are a good as me!!!

That was the issue. Thanks!

We missed seeing that difference, but then again you would hope the installers/techs would have caught it.
