Morning Everyone,

Having a bit of trouble with this one and Flash's help isnt so good in this area. I am trying to make it so that when the F1 key is pressed the movieclip goes to a help frame. This is running in projector, so this will not trigger a browser's help to open. If anyone has any ideas, please help me out.

Thank you in advance,

Lumstar

This works for me, when put on a control mc...

Code:
onClipEvent (keyDown) {
	theKey = Key.getCode();
	//trace("Keycode: "+ theKey);
	if(theKey == 112){
		_root.gotoAndStop("frame10");
	}
}

Thanks Old,

the wierdest part is that I had tried something VERY similar, and it wasn't working for me. Oh well, your expertise has helped again. Enjoy your monday!

all on main timeline...no clips

helpKeyListener = new Object();
helpKeyListener.onKeyDown = function() {
if (Key.isDown(112)){
gotoAndStop("helpframe");
}
}
Key.addListener(helpKeyListener);
stop();
