Hi
I hope someone can explain.
I have a form which has the "allowedits=false" because I don´t want anyone to change any info.

However, when I enter in certain fields, the form becomes "editable" BUT this only happens with the cursor is on fields with ON EVENTS.

Any fields with no ON EVENTS doesn´t change the allowedits.

WHy does this happen???

Nope, none of the ON EVENTS changes the "allowedit" property to "true".

Thanks in advance

hi
i had the exact same problem
i couldn't really fix it so i just
worked around it ...
at the end of the guilty event
i just placed an AllowEdit = false

its a cheap way of fixing a problem but it worked for me :)

oops
sorry about the double post

another thing, (if it doesn't work)
you could set the controls to control.locked = true

thanks for the idea.
I´ll use the first one first, if it doesn´t work, I´ll use the LOCKED thingy!

thanks again
