All,

I use hp omniback II version 3.51 and I am in no way qualified enough to use this software. All I really want to do is restore something from an old tape. Need to find out how to get the info off of the tape...

The tape is no longer in the catalog, but the info is still in the database

data has not been exported from the tape

I scan the tape in the slot, and afterwards the tape says it is empty (even though when it scans, it shows what part of what server it has backed up, IE. partition D on server 1 done on 1/31/03)

I do a "list from media", and it takes two hours to do the process, and then I go to "list from database", and there are no databases to be listed from.

Thanks in advance...

Patrick,

I also had this problem, did you find a solution? Please let me know.
