I'm using CR8.5 and have a report where I've supressed duplicate records in a subreport. The problem is that it will list a blank record where the duplicated record is.

Example: Before supressing if duplicate was checked, my output looked like this:

Locksets (No Competitor)
(No Competitor)
Cal-Royal
Cal-Royal
Trim Precision

After supressing if duplicate my output looked like this:
Locksets (No Competitor)

Cal-Royal

Trim Precision

How do I get rid of the blanks when I print?

Thanks so much for all your help
:-D

It sounds like you need to right click the section where the duplicates are and select format section->suppress blank section

Hard to say though, it sounds like your linking is to blame and that the entire architecture should be reviewed rather than just addressing this concern.
