Using Paradox 5.0 for report. There is a "notes" field in the DB that does not always contain data. Of course this does not print anything, but it still produces a blank line in the report. How can I get it to omit the filed line, when blank, to shorten the report output?

I've played with the "delete when blank" option but it does not seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

The exact approach will depend on the type of objects in the report - Tableframe, MultiRecordObject, simple field, etc.

One way to overcome the problem may be to make the field a calculated field, and use an iif statement (see help file).
Just a suggestion.
