Is there a "Best Method" of connecting to an Access database? I have connected using OLE, but just wondered if ODBC is a better solution? I have seen both methods in sample code in this and other forums. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to using either one? If it makes any difference I only have to read from the Access database.

OleDB is a newer technology, and most data providers support it. With ODBC you will have to write code to set up a DSN on the end users' computers; this is not required with OleDB. Basically, the only time I would ever use ODBC is in the remote chance the data provider does not have OleDB support.
