I've looked all through this site searching for answers as to why I cannot get the picture I want from the table to appear in the form. I started with a small db, creating a table with minimal fields, including one field with a OLE and another with a hyperlink. On each of those fields I linked it to pictures stored in a subfolder in the db folder.

I created the form, and only the icon image and hyperlink appear in the form. I followed the advice from Thread 702-434532 which prompted me to add imgPicture.Picture = [fldPictureLocation] to the Current Form field. Doing this lead to error messages about the object "not containing the automation object picture" and then "Can't find macro img.picture. Macro doesn't exist or hasn't been saved."

Tried many different things. Have visited Jamie's Software, a link given in another site, and would like to do the second technique, but it still won't work. Called Access teacher, who without the macro above, was able to get picture to appear in form. I still couldn't. Began new db, and still only get icon and link to show on form. Friend still has no problem, and we've walked through the steps together.

Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? I have attempted to Convert the OLE, but Show as Icon is not checked when I look at it. I'd rather use a hyperlink, as I hear it will take up less space, but even so, I merely get the link.

Thanks.
