I am having a problem to run an Access application that is developed in a Japanese Office 2000 environment.
The error message that I got is as follow
A problem occured while Microsoft Access was communicating with OLE server or Active X control.

I'm on an English Office 2000 environment. However, I tested on other people English Office 2000. It seems to be fine.
I wonder if anyone know what particular configuration is required in the English office 2000 or Access 2000 in order to avoid getting message whenever a procedure is run from the VBA module?

Any idea is appreciated.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, I can only offer my commiseration on this issue;(
I'm experiencing similar behaviour on Russian and Chinese systems with my DB developed with English Office 2000.
I'd be interested (and grateful) for any insight you might have gained since.

Thanks
