Hello,
I have successfully developed an application that calls Microsoft Mappoint to display a map of an address in a database (using Visual Foxpro - I know, this is a VBA forum but the knowledge here is better). I recently upgraded Mappoint 2002 to Mappoint 2004 on all of the workstations in my company. All of the workstations, except one, had a successful upgrade.
On the unsuccessful workstation (Windows XP SP2), the basic Mappoint program works normally, but when the OLE is called from the database application, an error message appears that says Mappoint.Application is not found. It appears that Mappoint is not "registered" with the OS.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Mappoint, to no avail. I have tried to register Mappoint using regsvr32, also to no avail. Other OLE applications seem to be properly registered on this machine, including all of the MS Office applications.
I haven't the slightest clue as to why this will not register properly. Help!!!
