OLE objects in db

This may be the retard question of the week, but here goes: I am connected to an access database which has a column that holds OLE objects. When i use asp to display all the db columns in a table, it works for all fields except the last, holding the OLE object. So do i need to specifically say that it should be reading an OLE object, or what?
