Hi there...

I have an OLE field, and I want to have the same document embedded into each record, albeit a few minor differences. Really, what I'm looking for is some way to start a template, then have it embed into a pre-determined field.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Actually, on the way home I was thinking that perhaps what should be done is when a button is clicked, a pre-defined document will populate the OLE field, thereby allowing the user to simply open the document, make changes and exit out. This would allow for exactly what I want...

How can I do this????

For instance, a button will copy a document called BID.DOC to the OLE Field [BID].

When someone opens the [BID] field in the form, it will open the unedited BID.DOC. All changes will then be stored in that records BID.DOC, stored in the [BID] field...

Ideas?

Thanks!
