We are facing problem in launching the Crystal Reports through Web in Netscape.
Problem: When the Report is launched through Netscape 4.07/4.7 ,the Netscape Browser crahes. The report works good in Internet Explorer.
Envmt: Client ==> Win 95/98, NE 4.0x, 4.7x
Server ==> Win NT 4.00, IIS, Crystal Enterprise 8.5
Programming: the Reports are called through web directly through URL. say
Problem Clue: The report Contains OLE Object embedded . Corel Wordperfect Suite8 and subreport.
It works good for the reports that does not contain any OLE Object.
The reports are launced as "Report Viewer for java" (java Applet ) which is the default setting for Netscape Browser. the same report works good in Netscape if they are launched as "HTML_Page" or "HTML_Frmae".
Please advice me if it is a known issue in Crystal.
